A locavore is someone who tries to eat as much of their diet as possible from food grown near where they live. Generally, locavores shop for produce at farmers markets, farm stands, food co-ops and through community supported agriculture (CSA’s). Being a locavore means your diet changes somewhat seasonally, depending on what produce is able to grow in your region at any given time.
